When the holiday season comes and christmas music starts playing everywhere, the first question that pops into my mind is "which song is the best?" every year I agonize over the question, and this year i decided to do something about it. This list is complied based on how good the songs are and ow classic they are. Let's begin!
Jingle Bells
Jingle Bells is definitely a classic. I think my favorite thing about this song are all the different versions you can find. You my sing it one way, but others probably sing it differently.
All I Want For Christmas Is You
Mariah Carey is known for her Christmas music, and is probably most famous for this song. It isn't really a classic in the way i think about it (old music) but it is a really good song.
Rockin' Around The Christmas Tree
This song is a classic, and I really like the vocals on it. They are different from lots of other artists music, but I guess that has something to do with auto-tune. All in all, this is definitely a christmas classic.
Let It Snow! Let It Snow! Let It Snow!
This song is one of the most well-known christmas songs there are. As a kid in school, I can tell you firsthand that I have sang this song in music class. Mostly only the first verses of these songs are really ever sang or listened to, and this is not an exception.
Carol of the Bells
You might not now this song by name, but once you hear it, you will recognize it. It is a pretty cool song with fast vocals, and it is definitely a classic.
It's Beginning To Look A Lot Like Christmas
Perry Como's has a lot of christmas classics, but this is probably the most well-known. This song is played in almost every store you go to during the christmas season. It is definitely a feel-good song, and it is really fun to listen to.
Finally...
Christmas In Hollis
by Run-DMC
This is kind of a joke, but also not. No, Christmas In Hollis is not the best christmas song ever, but it is a great christmas song. It is usually forgotten because it doesn't "sound" like other christmas songs, but it is a great song and deserves to be on most of these lists.
